April 2019 Reads

Hey, guys!

April has been a good month for books. Why don’t we take a look at the books I’ve read this past month!

I finished one I began in February:

  • Defiant Daughters: Christian Women of Conscience: a collection of Christian women who stood by their faith despite circumstances and situations trying to convince them to do otherwise.

I finished one I began in March:

  • Between Me and You: a story of a married couple and their struggle to salvage their relationship.

And I read a few in their entirety:

  • Dividing Eden: a tale of twins competing for their kingdom’s throne and the various levels of trust along the way.
  • Ranger’s Apprentice: The Ruins of Gorlan: the first book in the Ranger’s Apprentice series; begins the tale of Will as he begins his training as a Ranger of Araluen.
  • Ranger’s Apprentice: The Burning Bridge: the second installment of the Ranger’s Apprentice series; Will continues his studies and travels with two others to Celtica. Along the way, they find trouble and have to warn their country.
  • Ranger’s Apprentice: The Icebound Land: the third installment of the Ranger’s Apprentice series; Will and Evanlyn have been kidnapped and Halt has vowed to save Will. This book follows their stories throughout the following months.
  • Ranger’s Apprentice: The Battle for Scandia: the fourth installment of the Ranger’s Apprentice series; Halt, Will, and others fight to save the nation of Skandia.
  • Ranger’s Apprentice: The Sorcerer of the North: the fifth installment of the Ranger’s Apprentice series; Will is now a full-fledged Ranger and is sent to a northern fief to check out something suspicious.
  • Ranger’s Apprentice: The Siege of Macindaw: the sixth installment of the Ranger’s Apprentice series; Will and Horace fight alongside others to take the fortress of Macindaw and save Will and Horace’s friend Alyss.

And there was one I’ll be carrying over into May:

  • Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska: the diary of a Polish saint who experienced Divine Mercy.

Hopefully May will be just as good in the books I read!
