July 2019 Reads

Hi guys!

July was a good month for reading. Let’s take a look at the books I read this past month!

Books I started in previous months, but finished in July:

  • Brotherband Chronicles: The Invaders: The second installment of the Brotherband Chronicles. Hal and the crew of the Heron train for their encounter with Zavac and the crew of the Raven. Once they catch up with the Raven and her crew, the Herons help locals and other Skandians to fight the Raven‘s crew,

Books I read in their entirety in July:

  • Brotherband Chronicles: The Hunters: The third installment of the Brotherband Chronicles. Hal and the other Herons chase after the Raven and her crew. They eventually catch up to the Raven, fight her crew, and take back the Andomal.
  • Brotherband Chronicles: Slaves of Socorro: The fourth installment of the Brotherband Chronicles. While on mission to Araluen, the Herons join forces with Ranger Gilan to go after their contemporary who has gotten into slave trading.
  • Brotherband Chronicles: Scorpion Mountain: The fifth installment of the Brotherband Chronicles. The Herons and Ranger Gilan go on a mission to protect Princess Cassandra of Araluen.
  • Brotherband Chronicles: The Ghostfaces: The sixth installment of the Brotherband Chronicles. The Herons are driven off course by storm on their way home. Hal decides to keep travelling into the unknown. Once they reach land, they face a large bear and a new race of people.

Books I Decided to Shelf Without Finishing:

  • Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska: The diary of the Polish Catholic mystic.

Maybe August will be a good month for reading as well!
